About Orchard Software
Simply said, we're the best, and that's why laboratories from the boroughs of New York to the islands of Hawaii are harvesting the power of an Orchard LIS.
|
Orchard Software installed its first LIS in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 1993. Since that first installation, hundreds of laboratories across the country have turned to Orchard Software for their laboratory information system—including all types and sizes of multi-site and multi-specialty clinics and physician office laboratores, hospitals, regional reference labs, student health service centers, public health organizations, and research laboratories. Orchard keeps growing because we listen closely to our customers. They drive the continuous development of our products and make sure our software is up-to-date, easy-to-use, and meeting the demands of medical laboratories. |

Orchard’s award-winning Orchard® Harvest LIS utilizes process automation; robust instrument, billing, HIS, EMR, and reference lab interfaces; and rules-based technology to address regulatory and integration issues and simplify laboratory workflow. Orchard's LIS improves efficiency, reduces errors, and increases reimbursements. Orchard’s Microbiology module and Anatomic Pathology system eliminate paper and electronically integrate these departments with the rest of the laboratory. Orchard® Harvest Webstation allows users outside of the laboratory physicians, clinics, and collection stations to submit orders and retrieve results via the Internet. |

Orchard® Copia® is an outreach and EMR connectivity system used by hospital and reference laboratories and lab networks doing outreach. Copia links multiple labs and enables web-based access and client EMR integration for order entry and result delivery. |

Orchard® Pathology is a comprehensive pathology information system designed to meet the future trends in pathology and handle the complexities of clinical, molecular, and pathology testing and reporting. Orchard Pathology is used as a stand-alone system for anatomic and molecular testing or combined with Orchard Harvest LIS to integrate clinical testing. The shared database used by these systems provides access to the patient’s entire history and enables the consolidation of clinical results to the cytology or pathology report. Image management tools make it easy to link digital images, annotated diagrams, and scanned documents to case worksheets and incorporate them onto patient reports. Information on each report is stored in discrete data fields that enhance EMR integration and simplify the process to mine data for evaluations, correlation studies, quality assurance, regulatory, statistical, and many other management reports. |
