Orchard is very proud of the success of its award-winning Laboratory Information System and the Orchard brand. Our goal is to make life easier in the laboratory and to be the best at everything we do. Many technology companies today appear high tech, cold, and unapproachable. At Orchard, it is our objective to effectively communicate our brand–a customer-focused company with high standards and values, a strong work ethic that produces a very user-friendly Windows based software that makes work in the lab simpler and more productive. Orchard keeps growing because we listen to our customers and encourage their feedback. The input from our diverse user-base drives the continuous development of our products and helps us perfect our LIS to provide the broadest set of features equipped to handle a variety of laboratory workflows and business situations.
We feel the Orchard brand is warm, simple, organic, and inviting, which reflects how our customers feel about the software and our company. Our marketing and advertising strategies are integrated, and we use a combination of standard marketing tactics, such as trade shows and promotion, to communicate who we are and what we can provide to today’s modern clinical laboratory.
We constantly strive to provide the best possible customer support, as well as make complex software that is simple to use and that improves the efficiency and accuracy of laboratory information.
In March 2004, Orchard won the Best Campaign--Sales Under $20 Million award from the Biomedical Marketing Association. The BMA is an industry organization dedicated to helping their members promote their companies more effectively, and each year, they hold the Dx Awards to recognize marketing excellence.
