Rob Bush, President
As Founder and President of Orchard Software, Rob Bush is the leader and visionary for the company and focuses much of this time on new markets and product development. Prior to founding Orchard Software, Rob was the President of a medical billing software company. He began his career as a Financial Analyst for Eli Lilly and Co., monitoring foreign affiliate activity.
Rob majored in Physics and Finance, first at the University of Colorado and then at Indiana University. He received his MBA in Finance from Carnegie Mellon University.
Curt Johnson, Chief Operating Officer
A laboratory industry veteran of more than 20 years, Curt Johnson was Orchard Software’s 5th employee and has been involved in the sales and marketing of Orchard laboratory information systems since he started with the company in 1995. Upon joining Orchard Software, he traveled extensively, crisscrossing the country selling Orchard systems. He later served as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
In March of 2011, Curt became the Chief Operating Officer for Orchard Software. As Chief Operating Officer, his ongoing efforts are focused on strengthening customer loyalty by maintaining an entire organization whose focus is the customer. Under his leadership, Orchard Software has grown to become a leader in the lab industry and one of the most respected laboratory information system companies.
Before coming to Orchard, Curt had a successful sales career with Abbott Laboratories from 1988-1995 selling diagnostic equipment.
Quentin Law, Chief Financial Officer
Quentin joined the Orchard Executive team in 2015 with a comprehensive background in accounting and finance. Quentin’s experience includes public accounting and corporate finance. Before joining Orchard he held managerial positions with Cummins, Inc., and prior to Cummins worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Indianapolis and an M.B.A. from Indiana University.
David Bracewell, Vice President of Operations
David joined Orchard Software in June of 1999 and installed systems throughout the United States. From 2002-2010, he was the Technical Support call center manager and responsible for Orchard’s internal corporate network and systems. In 2011, David became the Director of Technical Operations, which includes the Systems Integration and Interface team, call center, internal networks and systems, regulatory, and quality assurance. In 2014, David was promoted to Vice President of Operations. Prior to coming to Orchard Software, David managed laboratories for US Oncology for 10 years.
Keith McKinney, Vice President of Sales
Keith joined Orchard in 1998, and sold Orchard systems throughout the central United States until 2009, when he was promoted to Senior Marketing Product Manager. In March 2011, Keith became the Director of Sales for Orchard. In 2014, Keith was promoted to Vice President of Sales. In this position, Keith is responsible for overseeing the sales of Orchard’s lab information systems.
Keith is a certified Medical Technologist (ASCP) with 10 years of laboratory experience, as well as 10 years of experience in clinical diagnostic instrumentation sales and customer support.
Nancy Stoker, Vice President of Product Management
Nancy joined Orchard Software in 2003 as an Application Specialist, responsible for product demonstrations for prospective clients and applications support for existing clients. Now, in her current position as Vice President of Product Management, Nancy oversees the Product Management and Documentation & Communication teams, which are responsible for new product design specifications, laboratory subject matter expertise, and sales support, as well as technical documentation and communication for new and existing products.
Prior to joining Orchard Software, Nancy was the Director of Ancillary Services for a large, multi-specialty group practice and performed consulting work for other laboratories. In addition to her 20 years of laboratory and radiology management experience, Nancy is a certified Medical Technologist and Certified Product Manager.
Steve Brady, Vice President of Development
Steve joined Orchard Software in 2000 as one of the original Copia developers. Prior to Orchard, he had 10 years of experience in medical research and laboratory information management systems. As Vice President of Development, he oversees the software testing and development groups, and works closely with customers, Sales, and Operations to produce Orchard’s laboratory information systems. Steve received his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana, and his Master of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Kerry Foster, Vice President of Marketing
Kerry joined Orchard Software in September 2002 to manage the marketing, promotion, and branding strategies of Orchard Software. Kerry is responsible for the development, planning, and execution of advertising, direct mail, trade shows, public relations, and collateral.
He has more than 25 years of sales and marketing management experience and has worked for, and consulted with, a variety of companies from numerous industries.
Kelly James, Director of Executive Administration
Kelly joined Orchard Software in 2003 and has worked in several roles throughout the organization. In 2005, Kelly joined the sales team as an Account Manager and later managed the inside sales team from 2007 until her promotion to Executive Administrator in 2011. In her current role as Director of Executive Administration, Kelly serves as the assistant to the Chief Operating Officer and legal liaison for the sales team for contracting. Additionally, she oversees purchasing, vendor relations, and corporate office facilities.
Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Hanover College in Hanover, Indiana.
Melanie Lockhart, Director of Human Resources
Melanie joined Orchard Software in the Human Resource department in 2012. Prior to Orchard, Melanie has worked in different areas of Human Resources, including employee relations, compensation, recruitment, and benefits, and she has over 10 years of experience in the HR field.
Melanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from IUPUI with a concentration in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She also holds a SHRM-CP certification.
Cory Cline, Corporate Controller
Cory joined Orchard Software in December 2014 after more than 10 years of controllership experience and more than 15 years of corporate tax experience. He is a Certified Public Accountant and earned his B.S. in Business from Indiana University.
Prior to joining Orchard, Cory served as Staff Accountant with Crowe Horwath, Corporate Tax Accountant with Alltrista Corporation, Senior Corporate Tax Accountant with Conseco Life Insurance Company, and Corporate Controller/Commercial Property Manager at SePRO Corporation.
Audrey Lorraine, Director of Documentation and Communication
Audrey joined Orchard Software in 2000 as a Technical Writer, following several years working as a writer in the pharmaceutical industry. As the Director of the Documentation & Communication department, she manages the technical writing and media development teams that are responsible for developing and overseeing documentation, web, and video projects.
Audrey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana.
John Miller, Director of Development
John came to Orchard in December 1999 as a Harvest LIS Software Engineer, after having worked with consulting firms for several years on a variety of projects—from airbag controllers to custom client 4D databases, from central Indiana to Europe. In John’s current role as Director of Development, he leads the development teams for Harvest LIS, Harvest Webstation, Orchard Pathology, Web AP, and Remote Workstation.
John earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
