Those who attended the annual COLA/POL Symposium on October 31- November 3, 2002, in Baltimore, Maryland were able to meet with several Orchard Software representatives, including Bruce Heitman, Northeast Regional Sales Manager; Tim Tulin, Southeast Regional Sales Manager; and Curt Johnson, Vice President of Sales.

Ginny Harrison, Western Regional Sales Manager, met with many people at Orchard Software's booth at the 19th annual Northwest Medical Laboratory Symposium. The meeting was held in Portland, Oregon, on October 16-18, 2002. For more information, visit www.wsscls.org.

The largest medical technology conference in New England, the 2002 Northeast Regional Joint Fall Conference, was held October 16-18 in Portland, Maine. The conference was presented by Members of the ME/NH State Society of American Medical Technologists, the Maine Chapter of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association, and the Maine Society for Clinical Laboratory Science. The Greater Indiana CLMA (GICLMA) Conference, "Survivors - Skills and Strategies to Stay in the Game," was held at the Sheraton North (Keystone Crossing) in Indianapolis, Indiana. The conference was September 19-20, 2002, with vendor exhibits open on Friday, September 20, from 9:30 to 11:30 AM. Visitors to Orchard Software's booth met with Keith McKinney, Midwest Regional Sales Manager.

The IMSS (Intermountain States Seminar) is a regional continuing education offering hosted by one of the participating states (Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Utah, and Idaho) on a rotating basis. It is held every September in Jackson, Wyoming. This year's meeting, "Challenge 2002, Winner or Survivor" was held September 12-14, 2002. Orchard Software's Chris Jones, Central States Sales Manager, and Ginny Harrison, Western Regional Sales Manager, met with many people at this event.

Orchard Software at the 2002 CLMA/ASCP Conference & ExhibitionThe American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA) combined their annual educational conferences. The CLMA/ASCP 2002 Conference & Exhibition was held in the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 26-29, 2002. The 20th annual Automated Information Management in the Clinical Laboratory (AIMCL) symposium was presented by the Department of Pathology of the University of Michigan Medical School on May 22-24, 2002, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Curt Johnson, Vice President of Sales, and Robin Ades, Sales & Marketing Manager, represented Orchard Software at this event.

Keith McKinney, Midwest Regional Sales Manager, represented Orchard Software at the Midwest Hemostasis & Thrombosis Laboratories 4th Annual Symposium on Hemostasis and Thrombosis. The symposium, which was held in the Marriott Hotel in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, on May 23-24, 2002, focused on the bleeding patient and point of care testing. Chris Jones, Central States Sales Manager, represented Orchard Software at the Annual Spring Meeting for the Iowa Association for Clinical Laboratory Science, the Iowa Association of Blood Banks, and the Iowa Chapter of CLMA. The meeting was held at The Five Sullivan Brothers Convention Center in Waterloo, Iowa, on April 24-26, 2002.

The New England Chapters of CLMA, CLAS, and AACC jointly presented the "Laboratory Reality: Thriving or Just Surviving in Turbulent Times?" Conference and Exhibition. This 16th annual gathering was held April 23-24, 2002, at the Holiday Inn in Boxborough, Massachusetts. Bruce Heitman, Northeast Regional Sales Manager, met with many people at the Orchard Software booth.

The Missouri Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, the Kansas Society for Clinical Laboratory Science, and the Kansas City Chapter of the Clinical Laboratory Management Association hosted the MOCLS/KSCLS/KC-CLMA Joint Meeting on April 17-19, 2002, at the Overland Park Marriott Hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. This joint meeting is only held every four years. Chris Jones, Central States Sales Manager, represented Orchard Software at this event.

Tim Tulin, Southeast Regional Sales Manager, represented Orchard Software at the Florida Coalition of Professional Laboratory Organizations 2002 Joint Annual Conference and Exhibition. It was held in Orlando, Florida, on April 9-11, 2002.

Orchard Software hosted a booth at the 13th annual Ohio River Valley Regional Conference and Exhibition on March 13, 2002. The theme for the conference was "Reaching for the Stars." Keith McKinney, Midwest Regional Sales Manager, and Robin Ades, Sales & Marketing Manager, were able to meet with many people at the show, held in the Adams Mark Hotel in Indianapolis, Indiana. The 17th annual North Texas Chapter CLMA Conference and Exhibition was held at the Grapevine Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas, on February 22, 2002. The 2002 Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exhibition featured the newest developments and innovations in the healthcare industry, along with information, government regulations, technology mandates, new system developments, and much more.
