The graphical user interface of the Orchard Harvest LIS makes
it an extremely intuitive and user-friendly laboratory information system.
Initial training and orientation time is reduced, allowing the staff to
focus on producing results rather than learning extensive menus and commands.
New employee training is easily managed.

Selecting Profiles: Profiles combine frequently ordered order choices into one group of order choices. Using profiles may help you save time during order entry because you only need to select one profile instead of selecting individual order choices.
You may also define a profile for a single order choice instead of multiple order choices. This allows you to link multiple, different names to a single order choice, so users don’t have to enter an exact match to an order choice abbreviation to add it to an order. |

Split
Order Rules: To facilitate order handling, Harvest LIS can
automatically split and/or defer orders using split order rules that
are based on the sample types, storage temperatures, testing locations,
order locations, or order choice types (micro, hematology, etc.) of
the order choices in the order. |
