The object oriented programming tools, used to write and modify the application, allow a very rapid concept to production cycle.

Scalable Hardware & Software

The fully scalable nature of the operating system and the core database application upon which our laboratory information system, Orchard Harvest™ LIS, is built allows tremendous flexibility in system configuration. The same software installed for an in-house lab today can be expanded to support a multitude of remote order entry and result retrieval workstations, numerous testing sites, reference lab interfaces, and links to other information systems.

Optional Features

Because no two facilities are alike, we offer several modules that you may use with your Harvest LIS to meet your unique needs.

Anatomic Pathology (AP) / Cytology - Orchard’s newest add-on module, Anatomic Pathology, provides users with an intuitive, easy-to-use system that provides all the advantages of a paperless environment and the electronic storage of results.

Microbiology - Use this module with Harvest LIS to bring the microbiology lab advanced information management, enabling you to work toward a paperless system.

Harvest Webstation - Use Harvest Webstation with Harvest LIS to provide web-enabled outreach to satellite laboratories and associate physician practices, giving them the same order entry and report utilities as the main lab.

Email - With the email module, Harvest LIS can email lab results directly to the ordering provider and to any other provider who should receive a copy of the results.
