Installation Process
Orchard understands the foundation for long-term customer satisfaction with your Orchard Harvest LIS begins with a smooth installation process and complete training. For every installation, an Orchard Systems Engineer (SE) with previous experiencein the laboratory will be on-site to ensure your thorough knowledge of the system and that your Harvest LIS is working to maximize your laboratory’s productivity.
On-site Personalized Training
No matter how big or how small your installation, Orchard Software will provide each customer with on-site personalized installation, setup, and training. Because each laboratory is unique, on-site training will be customized to fit the specific needs of your laboratory and the length of time on-site will vary with each customer.

Experienced System Engineers
All of Orchard’s Systems Engineers are nationally certified laboratory technologists, some are Microsoft certified, and many have laboratory management experience. Each has been thoroughly trained to enhance your laboratory’s workflow and maximize productivity through your Harvest LIS.
Week-long System Administrator Class
Many of our new customers attend our week-long comprehensive System Administrator Training class (P.A.C.E.® accredited for 33.5 Contact Hours). Prior to on-site installation, this class teaches the necessary concepts and skills required to work with your Orchard Systems Engineer to configure and implement Harvest LIS in your laboratory.
Dedicated Technical Support
During the final week of your installation, your on-site Systems Engineer will contact Orchard Technical Support and arrange for a conference call to introduce you and your laboratory to your dedicated Technical Support person. Your dedicated Technical Support person is specifically assigned to your account and has studied the details of your installation.
He or she will be available to you that first month to answer questions and provide additional help as needed.
