With Harvest LIS, maintaining your medical necessity checking is simple. The master ICD-9 dictionary and National Coverage Determinations (NCDs) can be downloaded from Orchard Software's website and easily imported into your Harvest LIS database.

Harvest LIS automatically screens ICD-9 codes, testing frequency, and experimental procedures during order entry, flagging all potential reimbursement issues. If an ABN is required, you can generate and print either a Medicare ABN or a non-Medicare ABN in English or Spanish. Harvest LIS will automatically add the correct billing modifier, ensuring complete and accurate coding, as well as timely reimbursement.
