Feedback on training...
"I have nothing bad to say about Orchard training class and/or support calls. More facilities/laboratories should know that Orchard is a great LIS application which is user friendly. There are so many features within this application and that is why Advanced Training class is imperative for super users to attend yearly.
I attend the Advanced Training yearly and find it very beneficial for several reasons. Orchard usually has a new software version yearly, so this gives the super user the opportunity to learn the new version before going live. I usually will go to class for new version then come back to work and install new Harvest version. We are also on the Gold plan to include attending training class yearly. As a super user you probably have other duties besides this task and going to the class gives you the opportunity to learn so many features to the software and interact with other laboratories to see how their software is setup.
Some facilities/laboratories feel one class is sufficient for super users to attend, but this application is so powerful and changes yearly with new features and there is nothing like hands on training. Also, support call center should also be commended for the exceptional job the tech support personnel perform on a daily basis and the quick response you get with issues and concerns regarding Orchard LIS system."
