In 2014, KLAS combined the Community (200 beds and smaller) and Ambulatory categories into one called Community Hospital/Ambulatory. For the 2018 award, Orchard received an overall score of 85.9 out of 100 in the Community Hospital/Ambulatory category. In the Large Laboratory category (non-ambulatory facilities and hospitals over 200 beds), Harvest LIS was rated an impressive 93.3. Orchard’s score of 93.3 was higher than all other LIS vendors in this category; however, the number of surveys completed on Orchard by KLAS for 2018 was not enough to meet the minimum KLAS "Konfidence" level. Overall, KLAS is actively tracking around 900 products from numerous vendors and has been compiling data on healthcare IT products and service since 1996. ![]() KLAS Survey Results ("All" LIS Category) Orchard consistently leads the LIS industry with high survey results in the sales and contracting, implementation and training, functionality and upgrades, service and support, and general categories. The sales and contracting category measures overall contracting experience, avoidance of nickel and diming, and that the product works as promoted. As of January of 2018, Orchard’s score in the sales and contracting category was 85.6 out of 100. The implementation and training category measures the quality of implementation, timeliness, and quality of training. As of January 2018, Orchard’s score in the implementation and training category was 91.5 out of 100. The functionality and upgrades category measures overall product quality, ease of use, and whether the product has needed functionality. As of January 2018, Orchard’s score in the functionality and upgrades category was 89.9 out of 100. The service and support category measures quality of phone/web support, proactive service, and whether the vendor maintains promised service quality. As of January 2018, Orchard’s score in the service and support category was 85.4 out of 100. The general category measures overall satisfaction, overall communication, and would a client buy the product again. Orchard’s score in the general category in January 2018 was 91.4 out of 100.
