This webinar will outline recommendations on how to prepare for The Joint Commission Laboratory Accreditation Program on-site survey. The presentation will explain the tracer methodology and provide examples of how a tracer is utilized as an approach to conducting a survey. Additionally, the webinar will provide an overview of The Joint Commission Laboratory Program, including resources on how to better prepare for an on-site survey.

About the Speaker:
Ron Quicho, MS
Ron Quicho is an Associate Project Director in The Joint Commission's Department of Standards and Survey Methods. In this role, Quicho serves as the subject matter expert for The Joint Commission's Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Laboratory and Point-of-Care Testing (CAMLAB). He also leads all activities involved in standards development projects, including research, project management, and collaborations with the laboratory community to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices nationwide. Quicho has a master's degree in regulatory compliance from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and completed his medical laboratory training at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. |
