Watch: Quality Control in POCT: Liquid, Electronic, Alternate, IQCP – Where Do We Go From Here?—November 19, 2019
Presented by: Marcia L. Zucker, PhD
November 19th, 2019 | 12:00 PM ET |
Point-of-care coordinators (POCCs) have been living with the reality of the Individualized Quality Control Plan (IQCP) for almost five years, but the field keeps changing. New systems are launched in the marketplace with built-in quality control features, new systems are launched without available liquid QC products, and new personnel are given responsibility over POCT QC.
This session will provide an overview of where we are and how we can move forward in a compliant manner to sort through all the different QC options. We will discuss best practices for implementing new devices and incorporating clinician/operator involvement in creating policies and procedures.
Learning Objectives:
This basic-level, complimentary webinar is produced by Whitehat Communications. Whitehat Communications is approved as a provider of continuing education programs in the clinical laboratory sciences by the ASCLS P.A.C.E.® Program.
