This webinar will outline The Joint Commission accreditation standards on waived testing and provide recommendations on how to resolve noncompliance. Recommendations will be based on real-life examples of noncompliance that were observed from previous Joint Commission surveys.

About the Speaker:
Ron Quicho, MS
Ron Quicho is an Associate Project Director in The Joint Commission's Department of Standards and Survey Methods. In this role, Quicho serves as the subject matter expert for The Joint Commission's Comprehensive Accreditation Manual for Laboratory and Point-of-Care Testing (CAMLAB). He also leads all activities involved in standards development projects, including research, project management, and collaborations with the laboratory community to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and best practices nationwide. Quicho has a master's degree in regulatory compliance from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois, and completed his medical laboratory training at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, DC. |
