What is your position at Orchard?
I’m a Software Developer on the ODE team.
What type of work did you do before joining our company?
I used to do tech support and QA for a company in Mexico that develops payroll software.
What excites you about working at Orchard?
The importance of technology and healthcare and how we get to play a part in the environment and also how Orchard is involved in giving back to the community.
What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
You’ll find me walking around with my dog, playing Uno with my friends while drinking hefeweizen at my favorite brewery or planning where my next vacation will be.
Motto or personal mantra?
Work hard, be grateful, never give up and don’t forget to have fun.
Who inspires you?
My husband. He’s one of the strongest men I know. He’s been through so much in the past year but he’s a warrior and just watching him gives me the strength I need to keep going forward.
What is your biggest achievement to date – personal or professional?
My life, in general. I’m so proud of the life I’ve built here, the friendships I’ve made that are like family now. Having a job where I get to do what I love. Hard work and sacrifice pays off.
Favorite newspaper, blog, or podcast?
My favorite podcast is My Favorite Murder, a true crime podcast.
Where’s your favorite place in the world?
23°12’274″N 106°25’428″W. Any beach in Mazatlán, Mx. but those specific coordinates are the perfect spot to see the sunset and where my husband asked me to be his girlfriend <3 Every time we go back we stop at that place to see the sunset.
What’s the last book you read?
The Audacity by Katherine Ryan, one of my favorite comedians.
Favorite sport?
Basketball, go Pacers!
What is on your bucket list?
Attend Oktoberfest in Munich
What music is on your phone?
Usually indie rock, Foo Fighters are always on and my latest guilty pleasure… Bad Bunny.
