The Indianapolis Star partnered with Philadelphia-based WorkplaceDynamics, the employee survey firm, to determine the region’s Top Workplaces. Of 926 companies invited to participate, 135 of them took part. Roughly 34,987 employees received the questionnaire, of whom 22,540 responded, either on paper or online. This year there were 85 Central Indiana companies identified by the survey as Top Workplaces, an increase of five companies from the previous year. Orchard is excited to again be recognized as a “Top Workplace” in central Indiana. Curt Johnson, Chief Operating Officer of Orchard Software, said, “We are proud to announce that once again Orchard Software has made the list coming in ranked ninth for mid-sized companies out of 25. More importantly than the number nine ranking are a couple of terrific accomplishments. First, our overall scores in 2015 improved over 2014. This is important since it is always best to measure your progress against yourself. This improvement is a testament to each of you and all you do to make Orchard such a great place to be.”

Curt continues, “As with any company, our employees are the organization. Orchard Software has been ranked by KLAS as the leading LIS vendor in the healthcare industry, and it is our employees that deliver the products, service, and support to be honored with this high ranking. We want to thank our employees for everything they do, but we could not accomplish our success without our customers, as they are part of the Orchard organization. Our relationship with our customers is a big reason why it is a pleasure to be an Orchard employee. We thank our customers for their continued support.”
